Live Cattle Futures Contract

Once cattle have reached their potential to gain and weigh between 1,050 and 1,500 pounds, they are referred to as fed or Live Cattle. This entire production cycle from pasture to plate generally takes two years. Investors can actively trade this commodity futures contract for both speculative and hedge purposes.
